At the core of John Bradley's career in environmental and emergency response solutions is a profoundly personal mission: to forge a safer and more innovative world for his family and future generations. As a proud husband and father of five, John's professional aspirations are intricately woven into his role within his family. His unwavering commitment to his children and spouse serves as the foundation of his ambition, propelling him to tirelessly strive for excellence and innovation in his field.
His story begins in Reno, Nevada, where he graduated from Wooster High School in 1981. Shortly thereafter, John embarked on a distinguished tenure with the United States Marine Corps from 1982 to 1986, serving as an avionics technician.
With a demonstration of aptitude and leadership, John graduated from A school in Millington, Tennessee, at the top of his class. As a result, he was meritoriously promoted to E-4. His deployments to Japan and the Philippines, along with his assignment to the VMAQ-2 Playboys Squadron out of Cherry Point, North Carolina, further highlighted his commitment and skill.
After completing his service, John pursued higher education at the University of Nevada, Reno, from 1987 to 1989, laying the foundation for his entrepreneurial ventures. In 1989, he founded Waters Excavation and served as its president until 1996. The company specialized in general excavation, trench-less technologies, and environmental remediation, setting a remarkable standard for safety and innovation through comprehensive employee training.
John's visionary approach led him to establish H20 Environmental in Las Vegas in 1996, where he identified a niche for specialized vacuum truck services. Under his leadership, H20 Environmental quickly became the leading hazmat response provider in Nevada, expanding its presence across 14 Western States with offices in Boise, Salt Lake City, Reno, Las Vegas, and Phoenix. One of the company's notable achievements was its pioneering use of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) for environmental response. This groundbreaking use of UAS and software was particularly evident during a spill in Buhl, Idaho in 2016, marking a significant advancement in the industry.
In 2019, following the successful negotiation of the sale of H20 Environmental to industry titan Clean Harbors, John briefly joined their ranks. This experience provided him with invaluable insights into the operations of a larger corporation. However, it wasn't long before his entrepreneurial spirit called him towards a new challenge.
Seizing the opportunity to address the growing need for advanced digital capabilities in emergency response operations, John founded Rapid Response Systems in late 2019. 2020 was an exciting year for him as he joined forces with Corey Mecham, a true expert in environmental consulting, UAS operations, digital interfaces, and ArcGIS. This partnership has been absolutely pivotal and has brought RRS incredible results.Together, their efforts have propelled RRS to the forefront of digital emergency response solutions. Their collaboration has resulted in an innovative suite of digital tools that greatly enhance communication and coordination among emergency response teams. This, in turn, elevates operational efficiency and effectiveness to new heights.
The impact of RRS has truly been profound, revolutionizing how we develop response plans for major river systems. Thanks to digital solutions, we can now meet and exceed the guidelines set forth by the Preparedness for Response Exercise Program (PREP). Corey serves as the President of Rapid Response Systems, where he brings his expertise in geospatial science and visualization, UAV operation and data, as well as environmental response management, assessment, and remediation. Corey's career in environmental consulting and geospatial science spans an impressive 23 years. Through his unwavering dedication and passion, he has honed his skills and accumulated a wealth of knowledge in driving the development and operations of groundbreaking digital response technologies. His expertise is second to none, making him a true pioneer in his field.
Mr. Mecham is a true scholar in the field of natural sciences and geography. With his bachelor's degree in Meteorology and post-graduate certificate in Geographic Information Analysis from Northern Illinois University, he has a solid foundation to excel in his chosen fields. His expertise is undoubtedly valuable and will contribute greatly to any project or endeavor he takes on.
For over 20 years, Corey has passionately devoted himself to environmental consulting. His extensive experience spans the Petroleum, Transportation, Energy, and Chemical industries. With expertise in project management and geospatial science, he has excelled in handling diverse projects and offering invaluable support as an expert witness in Environmental Litigation cases.
Corey’s experience is unmatched, including his impressive track record of building a company GIS and spearheading teams to tackle mapping and modeling challenges on a global scale. From basic mapping to cutting-edge 3D subsurface modeling, he has excelled in executing diverse GIS projects. His expertise extends further into utilizing UAV data for surface analysis, vegetation health assessment, biomass volume estimation, product volume estimation, and time-based change analysis. Todd Murray, a retired firefighter since October 2023, is the owner and primary trainer at ERC&T—an organization specializing in comprehensive safety training and consulting services. With a focus on CPR and first aid, Emergency Response Team (ERT) training, HAZMAT training, safety inspections, and confined space standby and training, ERC&T serves various industrial facilities across Arizona.
Mr. Murray, a graduate of Michigan State's School of Education with a degree in exercise physiology (1993), boasts a diverse background. Having played football for the Spartans and participated in three college bowl games, he later managed a Nationwide Mortgage branch office in Detroit and served as the Warranty Administrator for Tennant Company in Minnesota.
In 1997, after a business trip to Phoenix, Mr. Murray relocated to Arizona. In 2000, he joined the Chandler Fire Department, accumulating over 20 certifications—from CPR instructor to Department of Justice and Homeland Security credentials—making him a well-rounded firefighter and community asset. Throughout his firefighting career, he earned accolades such as EMT of the year and Hazardous Materials Technician of the year.
Notably, Mr. Murray also served as a Hazardous Materials Lead Instructor for the Phoenix region while concurrently holding the position of Hazardous Materials Team Coordinator for the City of Chandler. At ERC&T, he ensures top-notch training by utilizing certified firefighters as instructors for all classes and safety inspections. The organization offers consulting services ranging from home safety evacuation plans to comprehensive disaster preparedness plans. Classes are available in Spanish to enhance overall training for employees. ERC&T's reach extends to diverse industrial facilities, contributing to a safer and more prepared community.

He had the opportunity to hold this esteemed position for an impressive duration of 16 years, dedicating his time and expertise both in Manhattan and Woodinville, WA.
